About The Chris Culliver Foundation
The Chris Culliver Foundation (CCF) is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded by NFL Free Agent, Chris Culliver. Since its inception in 2012, the Chris Culliver Foundation has been involved in a long list of benevolent causes. The Foundation has partnered with The Society for the Prevention and Cruelty of Animals and with Guide Dogs for the Blind. In 2014 CCF also hosted the 1st ever Chris Culliver ABKC Dog show at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds. Additionally, Chris Culliver received an award at the Bark and Wine Gala for his work with the CCF, and was also honored by Critter Lovers at Work, during their fundraising ball in May 2014, for his outstanding animal welfare advocacy work. P.E.T.A took notice of Culliver’s plight for animal rights and chose to align with him for their October 2015, National Walk Your Dog Week campaign. Chris Culliver and CCF continue to lead the way in the fair treatment of animals by raising the bar, and setting a standard so high, that others are compelled to follow. Chris Culliver and the Chris Culliver Foundation believe like Albert Schweitzer, that “Until we extend our circle of compassion to all living beings, humanity will not find peace.”
The purpose of the Chris Culliver Foundation is to provide, protect and advocate for the common welfare of animals across the world. Chris is a strong advocate of making sure this message reaches communities of color. Chris was prompted to create a foundation early on in his professional career when faced with the sudden death of his beloved companions when he found them dead in his San Jose backyard due to heat inhalation. Wishing this to no one, Chris has been hard at work with carrying the mission to one’s effected and affected.
